REFLECTIONS:

This lesson plan is designed to give benefits to the students as it develops students’ speaking skill and also enhances students’ critical thinking. With the use of computer and internet, we hope that the students will actively participate in the activities, acquire new skills in using the computer and discover the best means in learning language through the assistance of computer.
We find this assignment challenging in deciding the specific topic and procedures. It is also demanding because we have to integrate the process of learning with the technology. The process of planning this assignment is also quite time consuming in order to choose the right video for the lesson.
Nevertheless, the process of producing this lesson plan is rewarding because we learn lots of new things from it. For example, we find lots of information about the Shakespeare’s Macbeth and get the idea on how to create an effective lesson plan from the internet. It also creates awareness that thorough online research is very beneficial for learners like us because it helps us to get the clear picture on how to form the best activities for the lesson plan. And most importantly, it proves that computer can be the best tool for the students to learn language.
The experience of producing this lesson plan would be useful to us if we intend to become a teacher someday. This is because, it gives us clear steps in producing a good lesson plan, creating effective and creative class activities and discovering new methods of teaching by using technology. Thus, this lesson plan would be a good example for us to create lesson plans in the future.
As a conclusion, throughout the course of producing this lesson plan, we had discovered lots of new skills and creative method of teaching. Apart from that, we realized that computer is the best companion in teaching and also learning.

It's good to see another teacher using the internet as a teaching tool. There's so much out there for students to see and learn, I often wonder why more teachers don't.

Just thought I'd pass along a piece of the internet I've found extremely helpful for my students: http://www.shmoop.com.

They've got some great insights, and they're entertaining, so my students stayed engaged.

Hope that helps!
